To Dream, Perchance to Soar

Aile Molyneaux has a secret, a passion, and a dream. She wants to fly — more than she could ever want anything else in the world. Of course, that’s just not possible. All she can do is dream.

Except that Aile lives in changing times. And the change that’s coming is going to blow her, and the world around her, away.

Metaphorically and literally.

Aile’s France is not too different from the one we know. The zeppelins fly overhead, shuttling passengers from city to city. The cars drive by, business continues as usual. Then one day a parallel universe touches hers, and suddenly everything changes.

Les volants soar through the skies like angels. Dreams become real. What isn’t possible?

This is the landing page for the book To Dream, Perchance to Soar. You can actually read it online in several available formats:

Please link to this landing page rather than the individual links above; they may change.

MOBI is for Kindle or Calibre, EPUB is for most other e-readers. The PDF is a compressed book proof, so you should plan to use a two-page view. The HTML is simplest to read online, but please note that it is missing the appendices, currently. Check the other formats for those.

Seven years later, the story of Soar still makes me happy, and I am glad I wrote it. Several months of self-taught French lessons later, I think that the French in it could use some semi-serious improvement. ^^; I’m hoping to make an updated version some time soon.
